I made these for a baby shower that was thrown by a good friend of mine. She knew exactly what she wanted so we designed them together.
Rock Climbing Cake
This cake was made for Corbin using his invitation as inspiration. His favorite color is green so we added it into the mix. His mom wanted a small cake with cupcakes. I love doubling up the cupcake wrapper to add more colors. Happy Birthday Corbin!
The Littlest Pet Shop Cake
My baby girl turned seven and the only thing she wanted was a littlest pet shop cake. I had her show me her two favorite animals from her vast collection and I used them to make these two littlest pet shop characters out of gumpaste. She was so excited and her party was a bast. I just can’t believe she is seven already!

Board of Cake
…..or should I say boards for cake. Yes the headlines are true. I am here to set the record straight. Cake boards have landed in my kitchen. They are here by the fifties in every size and they threaten to give me paper cuts in my sleep. Their one demand you ask? That I use them before my husband gets sick of seeing them and throws them in the trash. I try telling them they will be recycled and can come back as something much cooler in another life. But lets face it…what is cooler than a cake board? A box of cereal? I don’t think so. Luckily, they are just cardboard and don’t think for themselves so they believe everything I say.
Bunny Cookies
I was strolling though my photos and came across a picture of these bunny cookies I made for a friend to take to her daughter’s school for an Easter party. I know Easter is so over by now, but I didn’t want these cookies to feel left out of being on my blog. You know me, I’m a sucker for sad bunny eyes.
